Alumna Molly Bernhard receives 2013 Charles Barkley Health Disparities Award

Sewanee alum and current University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Public Health student Molly Bernhard has received the 2013 Charles Barkley Health Disparities Investigator Award for her poster presentation “Identifying Environmental Health Priorities In Underserved Minority Populations: a Study of Rural versus Urban Communities” at the UAB Health Disparities Research Symposium. 

Additionally, Bernhard received the 2013 Outstanding Masters Student Award for the UAB School of Public Health.  Molly graduated from the University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
