Groves Dixon published his honors research in the Southeastern Naturalist.
His research, done in collaboration with biology professor Kirk Zigler, studied the biodiversity of caves on Sewanee's campus. He identified 24 cave-obligate species of animals in Sewanee's caves.
Groves is currently a graduate student at Western Carolina University.
