Island Ecology Program

Island Ecology Program is an interdisciplinary summer field school. Following a seminar during the spring semester, students study geology, hydrology, marine and invertebrate biology, botany, and wildlife ecology on St. Catherine's Island, an undeveloped barrier island off the coast of Georgia. The program is open to students from all academic majors and interests but is limited to ten Sewanee students each year.
